None of the Budapest city center hotels offer parking free of charge. Just a bit outside of the center, however, several hotels offer free parking to hotel guests. Out of such accommodations, Hotel Fortuna Boat is the closest to the center. The area in front of the boat is a P+R parking area, so you can leave your car here any time during the week, free of charge. Park your car close to the boat. This is not a guarded parking lot, but there is a 24h reception service on the boat hotel and no one will touch your car even at night if it is close to the reception area. The parking area is sometimes full during work hours, but prior to 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m., there are always plenty of parking spaces available. The city center can be reached from the hotel by foot or by tram (lines #4-6 or #2).
On the Pest side of the city, in the outskirts, you'll find Hotel Manzard and Hotel Szőnyi offering free parking to guests. Access to the center is by metro in the case of Manzard, and by trolley bus in the case of Szonyi. On the Buda side, also well outside of the center, you'll find Pension Alfred and Hotel Dunapart with free parking. Both can be reached by the suburban train (HÉV) or by bus.
