Numerous tourists visit Budapest every year to have a look at the great sites and attractions of our capital. Many of these people are not looking for luxury hotels to stay at, but rather cheap and neat places. These people wish to save on accommodation and spend their money on souvenirs or dining instead. We have composed the following selection of cheap hotels for these people. Fortuna Boat
This hotel is popular because is it in the city center, anchored at Margareth Bridge. The non-stop tram 4-6 runs very close to the hotel, so discovering the city by public transportation is very easy.. Nice view of the Danube and Margareth island from many of the windows, while there is a very cheap alternative in the basement: rooms with common shower.
Pension Dominik
This pension is located near the "green lung" of the city, the "Városliget" - City Park. Easy access to the city center by public transportation. Various room types are available, even apartments for up to 5 persons. Showers (individual cabins) are available outside of the rooms in the hallway.
Pension Villa Rosa
We recommend this pension for those who want to enjoy a little bit of silence on top of the Buda hills. Access to the center by public transportation is 30 minutes on average. By taxi, it's 12-15 minutes, depending on traffic. This is an elite residential area, so recreational activities and shopping opportunities are also nearby.
Agape Guesthouse
The best thing about this place is its location: right in the busy city center. Public transportation is everywhere around it: trams, buses, trolley buses and subway line. The rooms are spacious and neat, with a little kitchen in each to make your stay even more comfortable.
Pension Buro
This pension is ideal for young couples: right in the heart of Buda at Moszkva square, with non-stop public transportation nearby. In addition, free internet access, which is rather uncommon in this category. The pension has its own bar, open between 20:00 and 22:00.
