These are the hotels closest to Ferihegy Airport. It is usually about a 20 minutes drive (taxi, car) on the so-called "ferihegyi gyorsforgalmi út", or Ferihegy expressway. Any delay along this road is quite unusual. From Budapest you first need to go to Üllői St. (directions to Üllői are given in the descriptions below), which takes you straight to the Ferihegy expressway. Parking is available near the airport.HOTEL KRISZTINA
Hotel Krisztina is located on Veres Péter st. 79. Just go to Örs Vezér square, then take a left on to Fehér st. After the railroad underpass turn left on to Jászberényi st. then a quick right to Maglódi street. The 14th street on the right will be Kozma st., which takes us straight to Ferihegy expressway.
HOTEL MANZARD
Hotel Manzard's address is Bláty Ottó st. 21. Bláthy takes us straight to Üllői street.
HOTEL CITY INN
You can go right to Üllői street from Hotel City Inn (Futó st. 55).
HOTEL KALVIN HOUSE
Hotel Kalvin House is on Gönczy Pál street. This takes us to Vámház körút, and then we must take a right at Kalvin square on to Üllői street.
HOTEL CEU
Like Hotel Krisztina, Hotel CEU is located on Kerepesi street. Take Kerepesi to Örs Vezér and then simply follow the directions given for Hotel Krisztina.
HOTEL RILA
Take Fehér Holló street to Haller where you need to take a right. The next intersection is Nagyvárad square where you should take a right on to Üllői street.
HOTEL RAMADA
Hotel Ramada's street (Tompa st.) takes us to Ferenc körút which intersects Üllői street. Just turn on to Üllői and will take you straight to the expressway.
Hotel Manzard is closest to the expressway out of the above-mentioned possibilities. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the airport from there. Most downtown hotels require 40-50 minutes due to slow mid-town traffic. During rush hour (8-9 AM and 5-6 PM) it could take up to an hour to reach the airport. For hotels on the Buda side, you should calculate an extra 15 minutes, although this too depends on the time-of-day. Rush hour traffic can make getting from Buda to Pest a difficult task, while it is rather quick and painless at most other times.
