The Danube Corso is a pedestrian "street" along the River Danube on the Pest side of Budapest, with restaurants, hotels, cafés and old-timer lamp posts. The area is much loved by tourists because of its location and the view to the river, bridges, castle district and Buda mountains.One of the most elegant hotels in Budapest is located at the foot of the Chain Bridge, at the Danube Corso, the Hotel Inter-Continental Budapest. This hotel is a 5 star hotel, and it offers a splendid panorama from its Danube-side rooms (it has been voted the hotel with the best view in Budapest by different rating forums). A few meters from the above hotel, towards the city center, you'll find Sofitel Budapest, which is also a 5 star hotel.
