In the last few years the number of the student groups visiting our capital city has increased and this is the reason why the demand for hotels, pensions and guest houses accommodating especially student groups has also risen. Central Hostel
Mellow Mood Central Hostel is a centrally located youth hostel in the heart of Budapest just a few steps from the Deák Square, the Váci Street and the Danube shore. The hostels is open all year and awaits the guests 24 hours a day offering comfortable, spacious and clean rooms for them.
Every group is welcome in this hostel. There are also four double rooms with private bathroom, which can satisfy also the needs of the group leaders and drivers.
In this four-storey building there are mainly four-, six and eight-bedded rooms and dorms. You can find a separate bathroom for girls and boys on each floor. Every room has safe and comfortable bunk beds and lockers. All of the rooms is spacious and air-conditioned.
You can have breakfast in our cheap (the beer also) and friendly bar.
Marco Polo Hostel
Marco Polo Hostel offers well equipped, clean rooms in the heart of the city but at a lower rate than the hotels. You can reach it easily with means of public transport and a lot of clubs and bars can be found in this area.
There are light, comfortable single, double, triple and four-bedded rooms in this hostel. The rooms are equipped with telephone, TV and have a private bathroom. The speciality of the twelve-bedded dormitories are devided into six separate parts. In each part you can find a bunk bed and two lockers. Of course the dormitories also have a bathroom with two wash-basins, a toilet and shower. The spacious rooms are clean.
The restaurant where one can have a chat with the friends is located in the cellar. The restaurant is open all day and Club Marco Polo awaits here the guests with musical programmes.
Hotel & Hostel Rila
Hotel & Hostel Rila, which was renovated in 2005 is located just 3 undergrond stations (M3, blue line) far from the centre of the city in calm and peacefull area near the clearway that leads to Ferihegy Airport. The location of the hotel is ideal for hotel and hostel guests, individual travellers or groups who would like to visit Budapest or are on a business trip.
Hotel ** - Hotel Rila offers single, double triple and four-bedded rooms with en suite facilities for the guests. Families or smaller groups can be accommodated in five-bedded studios (with 2 double beds and a single one, bathroom) at an affordable rate.
Hostel - Hostel Rila offers double rooms without schower and toilet (located on the floor) and five-bedded rooms. These rooms are suitable for young couples, smaller groups and individual travellers as well. In every room there is a telephone. The hostel provides bed linen, towels and soap.
Restaurant: The hotel restaurant decorated with nice wood-carvings awaits their guests all year with national and international dishes. In summer you can enjoy your meal int he garden of the restaurant. You can organize parties in the pub, which can be found in the cellar.
Dominik Pension Hostel Budapest
If you would like to spend some days in calm surroundings in Budapest a tan affordable rate Pension Dominik is the best choice. Thousands of visitors chose this pension every year because of its perfect location, friendly atmosphere and low rates.
Cházár András Street is near the centre next to the City Park and Sport Arena. Its buildings remind of the real brown-stone district. The small and medium size four-, six- and eight-bedded dormitories of the hostel are clean and comfortable. It is suitable either for individual travellers or smaller groups. The common bathrooms are located ont he corridor. Rates include bed linen. You can lend towels at the reception for an extra charge. There are personalized lockers next to the bunk beds.
