Hunguest Hotel Palota is situated in Lillafüred, a settlement 10 kilometres from Miskolc. The castle built in eclectic style between 1927 and 1930 is surrounded by a hanging garden and a large park. The view to Szinva Stream and Hámori Lake is made even more magnificent by the murmur of the Szinva Stream waterfall in the immediate neighbourhood of the hotel. The city lies surrounded by mountains on 3 sides in a picturesque valley in the eastern part of the Bükk mountains. Lillafüred is one of the nicest resorts in Hungary. Its climate is especially mild and gentle and perfect for asthmatic illnesses.

The Hunguest Hotel Palota is looking forward to the arrival of the guests completed with many new recreation services since then. In frames of the complete reconstruction of the hotel, rooms were reconstructed in a style fitting to the building. We are looking forward to the arrival of the guests with 129 rooms, including 18 junior suites, 92 double (or on request twin) rooms, 10 junior double rooms and 9 single rooms. 18 rooms can be extended with extra beds for children. All our rooms are equipped with bathroom, minibar, television and telephone. For our honeymooners, we provide accommodation in one of our junior suites according to our special Honeymoon offer.

There are three restaurants and two bars in the hotel. Matthias restaurant decorated with lead glass offers renaissance dinner and music. Our guests can enjoy an ample choice of dishes, beverages and music at Hunyadi restaurant. Nagy Lajos small restaurant has an intimate character for 15-20 persons. Our wine cellar is the best place to taste the famous wines of Hungary and the Northeastern region.

Aerobic and conditioning rooms, solarium, massage, dry and wet sauna (Turkish bath), jacuzzi, 10-m swimming pool, 2 bowling alleys, 2 billiard tables. There is a brasserie and a bar offering a wide range of different beverages for 30 persons by the billiard and bowling saloon. We also offer our hairdressers' and cosmetic saloon, manicure and pedicure services to our guests, so they can feel and look better!
