Novotel Szeged welcomes its guests in the most beautiful part of the city, on the bank of Tisza. In the heart of Szeged, the hotel is 1 kilometre (0.6 miles) from Móra Ferenc Museum and 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) from Szegedi Dóm (Cathedral of Szeged).
Rooms: 136 rooms, of which 6 are suites, 6 are handicap accessible, and 118 are non-smoking rooms. Novotel Szeged's modern, comfortable, and pleasantly spacious rooms are great for tourists and business travellers alike. Every room of the 8-storey hotel has a beautiful view of the city and the river. We have specially designed rooms and accessible communal areas for our handicap guests. Rooms are equipped with: air-conditioning, safe, minibar, radio, satellite television, telephone, internet. Bathrooms have a tub, hair-dryer, and radio.
Café Tisza restaurant features a wide variety of dishes from Hungarian and international cuisine, in addition to daily specials. Our restaurant and separate rooms are all air-conditioned. A diverse selection is always available whether you come for breakfast or an afternoon coffee-break, for reception or light-hearted dinner. We will be glad to meet any special requests, needs and provide personalised menus for any type of special event.
With its 5 separate rooms (and its terrace during the summer), Novotel Szeged hotel has a maximum capacity of 300 guests, thus providing an opportunity to host conferences, seminars, training, weddings, product demonstrations, and family events. Our three halls - Vedres, Tisza, and Lechner - are air-conditioned, can be combined, feature natural and artificial lighting, while the two conference rooms - Dankó and Huszka - are limited to artificial lighting.
Children's discount: two 16 year-old children's accommodation and breakfast are free of charge if they stay in the same room as their parent.
