ATTENTION: The hotel will be opened only from 8 May, 2007! Balatonfüred is a small town of 14 thousand permanent residents. It is often referred to as the Mecca of those seeking a cure to heart complaints. It is a living village museum of Transdanubia and the homeland of grape and wine. Balatonfüred is the oldest spa and resort by the lake. Its international fame is due to its abundant aerated springs, to its unique setting and mild climate, to the picturesque lake and to the full bodied, hearty wines. Hotel Marina is located in a park, at the shore of the lake. Wellness & fitness: Private beach with port, sunbeds, swimmingpool (25x8.5 m), sauna, massage. Rental: windsurf, pedal boat, rowing boat. Sporting facilities: beach volleyball, table tennis, badminton, billiards, morning gymnastics, water gymnastics, aerobic, skittleground, angling, sailing. Nearby: riding, water skiing, gliding, tennis court and soccer field. Rooms: For the comfort of the guests, there are well equipped rooms (direct dial telephone, refrigerator, colour TV with satellite programmes). Pets are permitted except in restaurants, the swimmong pool and on the beach. The three-storey Lidó building is of higher level offering suites with two rooms, two bathrooms, balcony with garden furniture, facing the beach especially suitable for families with children, are well equipped with direct- dial telephone, minibar, colour TV with satellite programmes. Meeting facilities: The conference and banquet rooms of the hotel serves as great possibilities for mini conferencies, meetings and training programs. Technical equipment: video recorder, slide and overhead projector, Internet, flip chart, amplifier, photocopier, TV-set, sound system, lectern, screen, ISDN connection, microphone (mobile and steady), tape recorder. Gastronomy: Our restaurant which is suitable for seating 500 guests offers buffet breakfast and dinner with high standard service. On our buffet tables both vegetarian food and foods meeting modern dining habits (different kinds of cornflakes, fresh vegetables and seasonal fruits, cakes for breakfast, French garnish, vegetable starters, wide range of cheese for dinner) are present. Of course we offer foods of our excellent Hungarian cousine in wide range. The pub of the hotel offers variable a la carte possibilities during the day. At the beach our Palma beach bar makes our guests stay even more comfortable with all kinds or refreshing drinks, alcohol, snacks, ice cream and also with hot meals. Rates:
To book the room, you need to send credit card information. The prices depend on the accepted cancellation policies as follows: Best Available Rate: A Credit Card number is required to confirm and guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will not be charged in advance. Public rates include buffet breakfast and VAT (20%) but not local tax, which is to be paid on the spot. Cancellation Policy: No cancellation charge if the reservation is cancelled prior to 4:00 PM (hotel local time) at the day of arrival. In case of late cancellation and no show you will be charged with one night's room rate. Advance Purchase Rate: Book your room at least 21 days in advance. Once a reservation is confirmed, your credit card will be charged for the total amount booked. Cancellation, modification NOT possible. The prepaid amount is NON refoundable in case of noshow, modification and cancellation. Public rates include breakfast and VAT (20%) but not local tax, which is to be paid on the spot.
