Balatonfüred is a small town of 14 thousand permanent residents. It is often referred to as the Mecca of those seeking a cure to heart complaints. It is a living village museum of Transdanubia and the homeland of grape and wine. Balatonfüred is the oldest spa and resort by the lake. Its international fame is due to its abundant aerated springs, to its unique setting and mild climate, to the picturesque lake and to the full bodied, hearty wines. Hotel Marina is located in a park, at the shore of the lake.

The three-storey Lidó building is of higher level offering suites with two rooms, two bathrooms, balcony with garden furniture, facing the beach especially suitable for families with children, are well equipped with direct- dial telephone, minibar, colour TV with satellite programmes.

Meeting facilities: The conference and banquet rooms of the hotel serves as great possibilities for mini conferencies, meetings and training programs. Gastronomy: Our restaurant which is suitable for seating 500 guests offers buffet breakfast and dinner with high standard service. On our buffet tables both vegetarian food and foods meeting modern dining habits (different kinds of cornflakes, fresh vegetables and seasonal fruits, cakes for breakfast, French garnish, vegetable starters, wide range of cheese for dinner) are present. Of course we offer foods of our excellent Hungarian cousine in wide range. The pub of the hotel offers variable a la carte possibilities during the day. At the beach our Palma beach bar makes our guests stay even more comfortable with all kinds or refreshing drinks, alcohol, snacks, ice cream and also with hot meals.
