Hotel Charles is a modern 6-storey apartment complex at the foot of Gellért hill, and it is only 1,9 km away from the city center. It can be reached easily by 3 bus lines from the center. There is an elevator in the building, and our 70 friendly studios provide recreation with satellite TV, telephone, refrigerator, equipped kitchen and bathroom.
Services: 24-hour reception with friendly and helpful receptionists, who speak several languages, laundry, rent-a-car, rent-a-bike, sightseeing, city taxi, transfer, minibar, public transport tickets. On request babysitter is available (checking up in advance is advisable).
Parking: Closed parking protected by camera, in inner courtyard, for up to 30 cars. Rate is ca. 8 Euro/car/night. Available upon request.
Traffic: Charles Hotel has excellent traffic. The downtown or the subway can be reached with a 3-minute ride on bus no. 8, 178A or 112, arriving every five minutes during almost the entire day. Guests arriving from highways M1-M7 can reach the hotel in 2-4 minutes from the boundary of the city.
Business center: Here you can send your e-mails, surf on the internet using a high speed connection. Photocopier and fax machines are available as well.
Restaurant: The János Restaurant awaits everybody who wishes to taste our delicious dishes - either Hungarian or international - and wants to have a nice afternoon or evening in a friendly place.Cozy enivronment and pictures of the old Budapest on the walls make the restaurant an ideal place for lunches, dinners and special occassions.
