The four stars Hotel Carat is built in the heart of the historical downtown, in the newly built walk part of Király street. This dynamically developing quarter of the city is about a couple of minutes' walk from the spectacleous Nagykörút (Grand Boulevard) and from the central metro station at Deák square.
This luxury hotel represents the eclectic style, using both modern and classic motives. The baroque motives are resolved by the modern lines of the furniture and the black and white poster prints showing the old Budapest. This way the settled quiet forms of the interior and the organic motives used in the inner spaces compose an exciting contrast. The hotel offers a comfortable accomodation both for tourists and businessmen. In the heart of the city the early 20th century atmosphere of the house is combined with a little bit of modernistic effects.
Rooms: There are 50 rooms in the hotel, which is composed of 41 doubles, 7 triple room and 2 rooms for the handicapped. Each room is air conditioned and is equipped with the following: bathroom (toilet, shower or bath tub), safe in the room, mini bar, telephone, TV with Hungarian and foreign channels, hair drier, Internet.
Restaurant: Hotel Carat Café & Restaurant offers not only traditional Hungarian dishes and specialties but also specialties of foreign cuisines.
Equipment for conferences: The two conference rooms of Hotel Carat with removable partition walls is especially suitable for events, conferences, family parties, exhibitions, talks to which we provide equipment. Capacity: max. 60 persons.
